Our Last First Friday

Please drop in for our last First Friday:
December 2 from 6 pm to 9 pm
If you have not already heard, we will be losing our lease for the church building. After 15 wonderful award-wining years, 2nd Floor Gallery will be closing its doors once and for all. Mechanicsburg’s largest art gallery will be no more!
We still have hundreds of pieces of art and a good number of antiques for sale. Catch Terry in a good mood, and no reasonable offer will be refused!
Also, please congratulate the winners of our annual Art Appreciation Contest. Dozens of local artists entered and the following works were selected by the jury as our winners:
1st: Julie Riker “Old Ford Station”
Carol Foerster _Odin_
2nd: Carol Foerster “Odin”
3rd: Charlotte Yealey “Big Brown”
Honorable Mention: Jeff Wiles “Young Salt”
Honorable Mention: Holly Cohick “Main Street”
These pieces, and many more, are on display and are for sale in our gallery. We also have a large selection of Mini Masterpieces remaining from October’s show, along with over 300 other pieces by local and international artists. All would make thoughtful gifts.
We will continue to be open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm through December 17th. We will hold a final gallery party/reception on Saturday December 10th. We will celebrate the 15 years of history and say goodbye to the old church building – once and for all.
Thank you all so much for your support over the years. I look forward to seeing you all at least one more time as we continue this transition.
