Call for Artists – Juried Exhibition for November at 2nd Floor Gallery in Mechanicsburg

Picasso-Mural-768x1024November will be Artist Appreciation Month at 2nd Floor Gallery at 105 South Market Street in Mechanicsburg. To that end, we will be holding a combined exhibition that will be juried and awarded prizes.

NEW ARTISTS ARE WELCOME — so please pass this on.

Juried Prizes:
1st – Best of Show
2nd Place
3rd Place

Customer Voting:
Patron’s Picks – 1,2, & 3

Here are the guidelines:
— There is no specific theme.
— You may enter up to two pieces of two-dimensional work – paintings, pastels, drawings, prints, photographs, etc.
— The work cannot be currently in the gallery, but does not need to be new.
— The work must be ready to hang – in other words wired. We can accomodate sizes up to 4’x4′.
— The work does not have to be framed.
— There is no fee to enter.
— You must provide a title, medium, and price for each piece.
— If you are not already under contract with us, you will need to sign an exhibition contract permitting us to sell the work, should someone be interested.

Intake dates and times are as follows. Please drop off your art on one of these days:
— Wednesday October 14 between 1 & 4 PM
— Wednesday October 21 between 1 & 4 PM
— Friday October 23 between 10 & 12 AM
— Sunday October 25 between 1 & 4 PM
— Friday October 30 between 1 & 4 PM
(Please email with the specific time you plan to drop off your work)

No entries will be accepted after 4 PM on Friday October 30.

The exhibition will be hanging in the gallery from November 1 through January 31. We will celebrate the opening on First Friday, November 6 and on Third Saturday November 21 — both nights from 6 to 9.
